Return to Play Policy
When an injury occurs, whether at our gym or at home, certain steps are expected to be followed for the safe return of an athlete.
Medical clearance
When an injury is sustained, the athlete is invited to sit out for the duration of a week during practices without presenting a note.
Subsequently thereafter, a graduated return certificate and/or medical clearance MAY BE requested from a Doctor, Physio, OT, Specialist etc., and if requested, return WILL NOT be allowed until a medical clearance is presented.
For any further absences post injury (lasting > 1 month), a medical note is required for the suspension of fees.
This also includes return to cheer post surgery. A graduated return certificate and/or medical clearance MUST be presented.
Our MAIN PRIORITY is to ensure that athletes return to activity safely.
